I get it... you're wondering why... If you're like me you've probably read dozens of blogs written by elected officials and assorted political pundits and, I'm sure, have come to the same conclusion as me.
They aren't that good.
If you like hot air and day-old bread... this isn't the blog for you.
If you're into fiction peddled by second-rate authors... this isn't the blog for you.
That's how I'm different.
If you want your inside baseball from someone who is actually on the field... then you're in the right place.
If you want the low-down from the Lege that's fresh and not stale chisme from the Cloak Room... then you're in the right place.
Look for an honest (and sometimes unflattering) look at the Legislature, news from Amarillo to Alamo, Baytown to Brownsville, Corpus to Castroville... and, of course, a little inside baseball.
