We have a winner!

Thanks to everyone for participating in our caption contest:

The winners are:
"The Last Unicorn" for Even Alec Baldwin supports TMF's vicious dogs legislation.
"Mean Rachel" for Texas Democrats Jim Dunnam and Elliott Naishtat wait their turn to audition for the role as "Disgruntled Elderly Man" in next season's 30 Rock. At the time of press, sources close to Alec Baldwin stated that Dunnam wasn't selected for the part due to "an unfortunate uneven eyebrow treatment," and Naishtat was rejected because "his overwhelming web presence interfered with the authenticity of the role."

We'll be in contact with you to give you your cool prizes.

Baffled by Betty Brown

My Republican friends in San Antonio always want to know why Republicans and Democrats have such a hard time being friends in Austin... I mean the Bexar County delegation has been working together for years... I count the Speaker as one of my friends...

I don't always have the best answer... and so rather than answer I guess I'll just show you...

During the very serious discussion on VoterID, Betty Brown said
this about Asian Americans and their names:

"Rather than everyone here having to learn Chinese — I understand it's a rather difficult language — do you think that it would behoove you and your citizens to adopt a name that we could deal with more readily here?"

Here's the YouTube, it starts at 3:30
But in the spirit of bi-partisanship I'm offering the following assistance:

If you find your name is too difficult for the poll workers in Henderson county... we've got your back!
